Back in August I buckled up and headed back in time for the fantastic cars and sights of the 6th annual Oblivion 80s & 90s Car & Culture show!
Despite a few early clouds the sun came out and the pioneer farm was jam-packed full of some totally rad rides. I've been a huge fan of the Oblivion show for years and am consistently blown away by the cars and the great locales the show is able to round up!
Got a few hours to wander around downtown Detroit on a Saturday night while my wife and a few friends went to a concert.
Ended up at the oldest bar in the city, checked out the Renaissance Centre, and visited a late-night record shop.
This past weekend I headed up to Bayfield for the 10th annual Bayfield Volksfest show in the scenic Clan Gregor Square. I've gone to Volksfest almost every year and each time the show is more impressive than the time before!
Tons of cars, great vendors, a whole host of food trucks, and an enthusiastic crowd make Volksfest a fantastic end to the car show season.
One thing I did differently this year was wear polarized sunglasses while using a polarizing filter. Lesson learned, it doesn't work very well.
After a number of years away I finally made it back down to Wallaceburg for WAMBO.
Downtown Wallaceburg has had some upgrades over the years and a nice variety of cars were lining the streets.
