I’ve been meaning to stop by Festoso Bros. Auto Body for a long time, and last week I finally had my camera and some time.
The owner, John Festoso, gave me full rein of the shop and I spent almost two hours photographing the cars outside and inside the garage. John has owned and operated the garage since the early 1950s, and was a Fiat dealer from the early 1960s to when Fiat left the Canadian market in 1984. Since then, John and his son Johnny have established themselves as one of the best Fiat restoration centres around, with an encyclopedic knowledge and decades of experience doing body work and repairs.
The garage is like a Fiat museum filled with original parts, service manuals, and promotional posters. I was very lucky to get the chance to go through the shop, and look forward to stopping back in soon.
