Had a snow day and, after shovelling, popped over to the boyhood home of William Lyon Mackenzie King.

Orillia Weekend
Popped up to Orillia to visit a friend this past weekend.
Saw a couple trains, ate a terrible sub, visited a lagoon city, walked on a frozen lake, and met a cat that lives in a Starbucks. Not bad.
West Montrose and Elora
Took a drive on the first sunny day of the year to the covered bridge in West Montrose and the town of Elora.
Elora is a place I’ve only passed through, and plan on spending more time there this year to really check it out properly!
Odds and Ends
Work has been pretty hectic with COVID cases rising, trying to get things wrapped up before Christmas break, and shifting to teaching online.
In the last month I almost got blown over by winds on the Bayfield pier, did some exploring on quiet winter nights, slipped on ice, and took a quick trip to Toronto.
